Mentorship Program
Applications to join the 2022 SWiP Mentorship Program is now closed. Thanks for everyone who signed up!
Every year, SWiP organizes a mentorship program that pairs first- and second-year members with upperclassmen and/or graduate students who are studying physics or related fields. These mentorship groups can meet in person or remotely one or two times each quarter, and get to participate in special membership events like movie nights or trivia games.
By pairing younger students with those who are further along in their physics journey, SWiP aims to foster lasting relationships between its members and create a support system for those who are just beginning their careers in physics. Older students give advice on everything from finding research positions to applying to grad school, helping younger students find their footing at the University!
